Stanyl is a high-performance polyamide 46 that provides unmatched performance and value in a variety of automotive and electronic applications: Not least Under The Hood, where our scientists (as you can see) subject the Stanyl Diablo to extreme conditions of up to 220°C
Stanyl (and especially Stanyl Diablo) maintains its mechanical properties at high temperatures. This makes it ideal for extremely high-performance applications, outperforming PPA, PA6T, PA9T and often PPS and LCP.
Ideal for metal replacement: Stanyl enables metal replacement in a variety of applications. It combines high stiffness with excellent wear resistance in temperatures above 200°C (and for short term peak temperatures up to 250°C)
Stanyl is extremely durable, providing excellent resistance to wear and low friction and excellent abrasion resistance for moving parts.
Easier processing than competitive materials thanks to its outstanding flow properties – which deliver commercial benefits through reduced cycle time and increased design freedom for industries producing computer and phones components, for example.
